Import Master From Excel

To Import Master From Excel, first select the desired company.

1. Go to Utilities > Import Data > Import Data from Excel.

2. In Import Data Options, select Master option and click on OK button.

3. Import Master from Sample Excel File window will open. In Master, select the masters you want to import from the list displayed.

4. Click on Download Sample Master Excel File link.

5. Tick on the fields you want to have in excel file and click on OK button.

6. When Radix prompts, 'File download successful', click on OK button.

7. Excel file will open. You can add, edit or delete the details here and then save this modified excel file.

8. In File, press F4 key and select the new excel file.

9. In Action on Invalid Entry, select from:

Continue - On selecting this option, import process will continue despite of an invalid record. Once the import process will finish, software will display the list of invalid record/s, which you can correct in the excel file and then start with the import process again.

Stop - On selecting this option, software will stop the import process in case of any invalid record. List of invalid record/s will be displayed, if any, which has to be corrected first and then start with the import process again.

10. Now, suppose you have modified some details of existing records of the software in the excel file and you want to import the same in the software. So you can tick on Overwrite Existing Records option, which will simply update the details of the old existing records.

11. Once all the details are entered, click on Validate button.

12. List of Invalid and Valid Records will be displayed. If any entry is displayed in the Invalid Records section, then you can click on Cancel button and correct the same in the excel file and then do the import process again.

13. Once all the records are validated, click on Import Valid Data button.

14. Import process will start and once done, Radix will prompt, 'Successful', here click on OK button. Your excel data will get imported in Radix.
