Import Transactions From Excel

Here are the steps to Import Transactions From Excel. To learn more, you can also watch this RADIX Online tutorial video:

To Import Transactions From Excel, first select the desired company.

1. Go to Utilities > Import Data > Import Data from Excel.

2. In Import Data Options, select Transactions option click on OK button.

3. All Mapping Documents window will open. In case you have mapped an excel file earlier, then it will be displayed here, you can select it and import process will be done directly. In case you are mapping an excel file for the first time or you want to map a new excel, then, click on New button.

4. Import Excel Data window will open. In Select Excel file, press F4 key and select the excel file you want to import.

5. On selecting excel file, all fields in excel file will be displayed in From Excel Columns side in Mapping Module section. Select the fields which you want to import in the software by clicking on the right arrow key. Selected fields will be displayed in To Excel Columns side.

6. Once done, click on Map button.

7. A new window will open. Select other details here such as:

Account - Press F4 key and select the account in which you want to import all the transactions.

Function - Press F4 key and select the transaction type from the list of options displayed.

Daybook - Press F4 key and select the daybook in which you want to import all the transactions.

GST Method - Press F4 key and select the desired GST Method for all the transactions.

8. After selecting all the details, click on Load Fields button.

9. All fields of the selected daybook will be loaded. Select the excel column and then select it's respective daybook field accordingly.

10. Once done, click on Save button.

11. Save Mapping window will open. In Name, enter the name you want to save this mapping with and then click on Save button.

12. Once done, click on Import button.

13. When Radix prompts, 'Are you sure to import data from excel?', click on Yes button.

14. Import process will start and once done software will prompt, 'Data Imported successfully', click on OK button here. Your excel data will get imported in Radix.

Please Note: In case, some records are skipped by the software, then reason for the same will be displayed by the software. You can resolve the issue and then import the data again.
