Gray Return from Mill
For Gray Return from Mill transaction in RADIX, first select the desired company.
1. Go to Transactions > Purchases > Invoices OR click on 4 Purchase Invoice button on the menu-bar OR press Ctrl-4 Shortcut key on Radix main screen.
2. 'Choose a day-book' form will open. Select the Purchase Invoice for Job-charge day-book here from the list displayed and click on OK button or press Enter.
3. Entry form will open for the selected day-book. Enter all the details such as:
Document # - Enter the document/invoice number here.
Date - Enter the date of Gray Return from Mill transaction here.
Account - Press F4 button, list of accounts will be displayed. Select the desired account from here or type the account name directly.
In case of a new account, click on New button and Create Account.
Broker - Press F4 button, list of brokers will be displayed. Select the broker from here or type the broker name directly.
In case of a new broker, click on New button and Create Broker.
Party Bill No & Date - Enter the invoice bill number and date here.
You can enter the fields you want and leave rest of the fields blank and proceed.
4. In item entry section, enter details such as:
Lot Number - Press F4 button and select the lot number here from the list of issues displayed. On selecting the lot number, all the other details will get entered automatically. You can also edit these details.
Item - Press F4 button and select the same item which you issued, from the list displayed.
Rate Per - Select the option on which you want to calculate the rate, from the list displayed.
PCS/CUT/MTS - Enter the received quantity in the respective field.
Rate - Enter '0' here.
Amount - Zero line- item amount will be displayed.
You can enter the fields you want and leave rest of the fields blank and proceed.
5. After entering all the details, click on Save button. Gray Return from Mill transaction will be saved.
6. New button will be activated. To do another transaction, click on New button and start again from step 3.
