Database Restore


To Restore Database in Radix, 


1. Double click on the Radix icon given on your desktop.


2. Enter your Radix system login password. In case, if you have not set any password, click on OK button or press Enter.


3. You will enter into Radix main menu. Press F8 key directly or click on F8 Restore button or go to Company > Restore or press Ctrl+R shortcut key.


Database Restore form will open.


4. Restore From - Select here from where you want to restore data Restore Locally or Restore from drive (Google Drive).


         Option: Restore Locally


                                 Select this option to restore data from your local Storage.

       

       Option: Restore From Drive


Click on "Restore From Drive" to proceed to Google Drive Backup.

After clicking on "Restore from Drive," you will see a list of backups available. You can select the company backup you want to restore from this list.


NOTE: if you haven't already authenticated with Google Drive, you will need to log in with your Gmail account and allow access to Google Drive.

Once authenticated, you will see a list of backups available. You can select the company backup you want to restore from this list.


5. In Source file, press F4 button and select the database file you want to restore. 


6. Tick here on Backup to take auto backup while restoring data.


7. Tick here on Restore GST Commodity to update GST Commodity while restoring data


8. Select from Existing Data any one for restore 


1. Overwrite All - This option will restore all supported files without prompting for confirmation each time. It's efficient if you're confident that you want to restore all files and don't need individual confirmations.

2. Skip All - This option will skip restoring all supported files without prompting for confirmation each time. It's useful if you don't want to restore any files at the moment and want to avoid being prompted for each file.

3. Ask Me - This option will prompt for confirmation for each file to be restored, giving you the chance to confirm or skip each one individually. 

                  It's helpful if you want control over each restoration decision, perhaps due to concerns about overwriting or restoring unnecessary files.


9. In Databases, select all the check-boxes like Company Group, Company, Company Common and Common.


10. Click on Restore button.


11. When Radix prompts 'Restore completed successfully.', click on OK button. Your Database Restore will be done.


12. To check the details of the restored company, you need to click on the "Backup Info." button.
