Printer Configuration


For Printer Configuration in Radix, first enter the Radix Main Menu.


1. Go to Config > Printers > Printer Configuration.


2. Printer settings form will open. Enter details here such as:

Print Engine Type - To configure DOS printer, select DOS option. To configure Windows Printer, select Windows option. If you want to configure both DOS and Windows printers, select Both option.


3. Now, three scenarios can be there:

a. If you select Windows option, enter details such as:

Use Windows Default Printer - Tick on this option, if you want to set the default printer of Windows here.

Printer Name - Tick on this option, if you want to have a separate printer for all the software related prints. Press F5 key and select the printer from the list displayed and click on OK button.

b. If you select DOS option, enter details such as:

               Emulation - Select the printer's company name here.

               Port - Enter 'LPT1' here.

               Printer - Here, press F4 key and select the printer from the list displayed and click on OK button.

         c.  In case, if you select Both option, you need to enter details in both Windows and DOS sections.


4. To set all these settings as default, click on Save As Default button and then click on OK button.


5. To Reset or to have software's default settings back, click on Load Defaults button.


6. Once all the details have been entered, click on OK button. Your Printer will be configured.
