Notification Definition

Here are the steps for Notification Definition. To learn more, you can also watch this RADIX Online tutorial video:

For Notification Definition in Radix, first select the desired company.

1. Go to Utilities > Settings > Email/SMS Settings > Notification Definition.

2. Notification Definition window will open. List of all by default templates will be displayed.

3. To create a new definition, select details here such as:

Function Name - Press Space-Bar or F4 key to select the function name from the list of options displayed.

Day-book Code - Press Space-Bar or F4 key to select the day-book from the list of options displayed.

View Code - Press Space-Bar or F4 key to select the view from the list of options displayed.

Send To - Press Space-Bar or F4 key and select to whom you want to send SMS/Email.

Add - Tick here to get a notification while creating a new invoice.

Modify - Tick here to get a notification while creating a editing the invoice.

Delete - Tick here to get a notification while deleting an invoice.

SMS - Tick here to get a notification to send SMS.

Email - Tick here to get a notification to send Email.

Attachment - Tick here to add an attachment with SMS/Email.

4. After selecting all the fields, create the message you want to send in the Message section.

5. After setting the message, click on Validate Message button.

6. Now, if the entered message is correct Radix will prompt, 'Message is Valid', click on OK button here. In case if the message is incorrect, software will prompt with the field name which is not valid. Here, you may correct the message and then validate it again.

7. To delete any template, select the definition you want to delete and then click on Delete button.

8. Once done, click on Close button. This is how you can create or modify SMS/Email Notification Templates.
