How to apply Credit Limit?


To apply Credit Limit in Radix, first select the desired company.


       1. Go to Utilities > Settings > Co.Configuration.


2. Company Configuration form will open. Go to Credit Limits tab. Tick on the desired options:

Enable Credit Limits - Tick here to apply credit limit on Amount.

Enable Credit Limit on Days - Tick here to apply credit limit on Days.

Enable Multi Co. Credit Limit - Tick here to set credit limit in multiple companies.


3. To set Customer wise Credit Limit, tick on Ask in Customers option. To set Vendor wise Credit Limit, tick on Ask in Vendors option.To set a same limit for all accounts, tick on Limit Value option and then enter the credit limit you want to set. Once the entered limit is exceeded, select the action you want to take from If Limit is Reached section. 


4. Once done, click on Save button. Your entered details will be saved.



To set Credit Limit in desired Creditor or Debtor account,


1. Go to Masters > Accounts > Accounts.


2. Accounts entry form will open. Press F4 button, list of accounts will be displayed. Select the account in which you want to set Credit Limit and press Enter key or click on OK button.


3. Selected account's details will open. Click on 2 Tax/Transaction tab and enter all the details here such as:

Credit Limit Type - Select the option from the list displayed. Here, software will prompt to enter password. The password is 'AURO month date' for example; if today's date is 1st March, then the password will be AURO0301.

Credit Limit - Enter the value of the credit limit you want to set for this account.

Credit Limit Action - Select the action you want to take if the above entered credit limit gets exceeded. 

Ignore - On selecting this option, software will ignore the entered credit limit value even if the amount gets exceeded while saving sales or purchase transaction.

Warn - On selecting this option, software will ignore the entered credit limit value even if the amount gets exceeded while saving sales or purchase transaction.

Confirm - On selecting this option, if the credit limit value gets exceeded while saving sales or purchase transaction, software will display a message and ask for confirmation whether you want to continue with the transaction or cancel it.

       Block - On selecting this option, software will not allow saving the sales or purchase transaction, if the entered credit limit amount gets exceeded.


You can enter the fields you want and leave rest of the fields blank and proceed.


4. Once done, click on Save button. Credit Limit will be set for the selected account.
