Here are the steps to create Unit of Measure (UOM). To learn more, you can also watch this RADIX Online tutorial video:

Unit of Measure (UOM)

To create Unit of Measure (UOM) in Radix, first select the desired company.

1. Go to Masters > Others > Unit of Measure (UOM).

2. UOM entry form will open. Enter details such as:

Name - Enter the name of the Unit of Measure (UOM) you want to create.

Code - This field will be auto-generated. However, if you want you can change it.

Name - This field will be auto-generated. However, if you want you can change it.

Short Name - You can enter short name, if any.

Print Name - You can enter print name here, if any.

Format - Enter the number of characters for value of the Unit of Measure. For ex. For UOM Kgs, if you enter 3.2, then you can enter 3 characters before decimal and 2 characters after decimal in Kgs field in entry module.

Status - Always tick on this option, if you want your Unit of Measure (UOM) to be active.

You can enter the fields you want and leave rest of the fields blank and proceed.

3. Once all the details have been entered, click on Save button. Your Unit of Measure (UOM) will be created.

4. New button will be activated. To create another Unit of Measure (UOM), click on New button and start again with step 3.
