Create Classes
Here are the steps to Create Classification. To learn more, you can also watch this RADIX Online tutorial video:
To Create a Classification in Radix,
1. After logging in to the Company Main menu, Go to Masters > Others > Classification > Classes.
2. Classification entry form will open. Enter details such as
- Description - Press F4 button and select the class from the list of options displayed.
- Code - Enter the code of the classification you want to create.
- Description -Enter the description of the classification you want to create.
- Level No - Press F4 button and select 1 option here or you can type 1 directly.
- IsDefault - If you tick this option, then while making an entry in day-book, when you press F4 button in classification field, the cursor will be by default set to this classification, from the list of classifications displayed.
- Notes - Enter classification related information here, if any.
You can enter the fields you want and leave rest of the fields blank and proceed.
3. Enter other details such as:
- Function - Press F4 button and select the transaction type from the list of options displayed.
- Day-book - Press F4 button and select the day-book for that transaction type from the list of options displayed.
In case of a new day-book, click on New button and Create Daybooks.
- Account - Press F4 button and select the account under which you want your classification to be seen.
In case of a new account, click on New button and Create Account.
You can enter the fields you want and leave rest of the fields blank and proceed.
4. Once all the details have been entered, click on Save button.
5.When RADIX prompts, 'Do you want to start Rebuild Ledger?', click on Yes button
6. New button will be activated. To create another Classification, click on New button and start again with the steps mentioned above.
